Happiness Day Art Competition

« back

We recently ran a survey for the International Day of Happiness which revealed that when it comes to “simple pleasures”, Kiwis value “spending time with family” and “seeing their children smile” at the top of their list. Relaxing at the beach on a hot day, eating comfort food and enjoying a cup of tea also featured in the top ten list!
To celebrate the International Day of Happiness, we are running a happiness themed art competition for New Zealand kids aged 5-12 years old. They can pick whatever makes them happy as a subject. It could be a much-loved hobby, spending time with a best friend or even their favourite ride at Rainbow's End!
The happiness theme is completely open to interpretation and aims to celebrate imagination, creativity, happiness and what inspires the kids the most. Kids are welcome to use any tools that they like, including colouring pencils, crayons, paint and markers.
The top three submissions will win a day out at Rainbow’s End for themselves and 5 of their friends and family.
Entries are open now and will close on Friday 4th May 2018 at 5pm. Entries can be posted to Rainbow’s End, Private Bag 76-924. Manukau 2241, with the heading, ‘Happiness Art Competition,’ or emailed.  Please make sure you include name, age, email and contact phone number with each entry.
We hope that the kids have lots of fun with the competition and the theme!
