Last night 82 staff from Rainbow’s End did a runner! No, not with the day’s takings, but for a good cause.
For the second year running staff at Rainbow’s End signed up to run in the KidsCan Santa Run which took place last night at Sir Barry Curtis Park in Manukau. The festive fun run invites participants to dress up as Santa for the 2-3km run.
Team Development Manager, Leanne Laloli, donned her Santa outfit for the run said, “what a great way to have some fun with the staff and raise money for an important cause that will benefit so many families that are struggling toprovide the basics for their children. At the heart of Rainbow’s End we are about children having fun, laughing, spending time with family and this fun run is just one of the ways we can give something back to our community”.
KidsCan supports over 15,000 hungry children a week and maintains a number of programmes including Food for Kids, Shoes for Kids, Raincoats for Kids and Health for Kids.
Rainbow’s End raised over $1,600 for KidsCan which tops off an amazing year of giving for the theme park, with over $200,000.00 of entry passes donated to local organisations, charities and schools.
