RAINBOW'S END WINS INTERNATIONAL AWARDS!
Rainbow's End was thrilled to come away with two major awards at the Brass Rings 2012 International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) awards ceremony in Orlando, Florida. We were competing with some of the finest theme parks across the world so we're delighted that we can help put Auckland and New Zealand on the map in this industry.
IAAPA is thelargest international trade association for amusement facilities worldwide. Itrepresents more than 4300 members from more than 97 countries. The IAAPA BrassRing awards hold great prestige in the industry.
Rainbow’s Endwas awarded the Best Employee Reward and Recognition Program and BestInnovation in a Training Program for a facility with annual attendance lessthan 1 million. The Auckland based theme park was also one of three finalists nominated for the Best Worldwide Family Entertainment Facility, an impressive achievement given the level of worldwide competition.
“While we continually seek to improve what we do, these awards reinforce to our team that we are operating at a level higher than many comparable overseas parks” says CEO Chris Deere.
He goes on to add “Rainbow’s End has invested heavily in park improvements over the past few years and the capital investment will continue to ensure we keep the park modern and relevant for our guests”.
