What’s the Challenge?
Our brand-new pirate shanty, The Ballad of Pacifica, has set sail – and now it’s your turn to join the crew!
We’ve created a powerful TikTok dance to capture Pacifica’s epic voyage, and we want to see your take. Copy our moves, put your own spin on them, or show us your own interpretation of the Ballad soundtrack – the more creative the better. Don’t walk the plank… dance it, and join the crew on this epic voyage!
The Treasure
Every buccaneer who joins the challenge goes in the draw to win 1 of 5 Annual Superpasses to Rainbow’s End (valued at $199) – including the opportunity to ride the brand-new Pirate Ship, Pacifica!

What’s the Ballad About?
The Ballad of Pacifica tells the tale of Rainbow’s End’s lost Pirate Ship, Captain Esmeralda’s perilous journey across the seas, and her triumphant return with the mighty new vessel Pacifica, launching this October.
It’s not just a song – it’s the anthem of a brand-new adventure. Listen to the Ballad of Pacifica here.
Why We’re Doing It
Pacifica is about to make her grand debut as Rainbow’s End’s newest thrill ride. To give her a true pirate’s welcome, we created a powerful sea shanty – and now we want to see your moves bring it to life. Jump on the TikTok challenge and help sail her anthem straight into the charts!

Here’s the map to your prize:
We have outlined some steps of how the competition will work below:
1️⃣ Create your TikTok to The Ballad of Pacifica – copy our dance, add your own moves, or get creative with the Sea Shanty!
2️⃣ Post it on TikTok or Instagram and tag @RainbowsEndNZ so we can find your entry.
3️⃣ Make sure your entry is posted before 11:59pm Sunday 16th November.
4️⃣The top 5 videos that have the most likes by 12:00pm Frfiday 21st November will be crowned the winners.
You can enter more than once – the more shanty spirit you show, the better your chances to win!
The Prize: Each Annual Superpass is valid for all open days from 1 January to 31 December 2026.
