The pirate Ship returns SPRING 2025!

We're thrilled to announce that in Spring 2025, we will bring back a beloved classic to the park - The Pirate Ship!

 The original Pirate Ship was a guest favourite for almost 40 years and decommissioned in 2017 due to the limited availability of replacement parts. But we have listened to repeated requests from Kiwis asking for it to return, and a new and improved Pirate Ship will be ready to set sail in Spring 2025.

PLANNED RIDE MAINTENANCE

If you ride with us often, you may think your favourite ride doesn’t change from visit to visit, but there is so much going on behind the scenes to keep them flying!

As well as daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance procedures and checks, all attractions get an annual ‘birthday’ where we take them offline and get in depth servicing and upgrades done.

It’s the Power Surge’s birthday right now 🥳🎂 and she’s getting brand new arms and motors for her birthday!

We’ll also go through every part to clean, service or upgrade. The work will take a team of mechanical engineers and technicians many weeks, and the Power Surge will come out the other side like new.

This means the Power Surge won’t be available for school holidays, but you can hop on board again in December

Beware ticket scams on social media!

There is a scam doing the rounds on social for a $3.50 ticket deal. THIS IS FALSE - THEY ARE TRYING TO STEAL YOUR MONEY & INFO.

We often have problems with scammers on Facebook and Instagram falsely advertising deals for tickets to Rainbow's End. Scammers use our brand to try and to gather your money and your personal info.

Rainbow's End tickets are only available through the links on this website, or when we have coupon promotion on GrabOne. All other sales are unauthorized and always fraudulent.

Another common scam are organizations selling or offering coupons for big discounts. These are always fraudulent too!

Please be careful out there! If you spot a scam, help keep yourself and the community safe by:

1. Don’t buy from them, or anyone onselling tickets on Social media
2. Report them to the platform (e.g. Facebook)
