POWER SURGE CLOSED this weekend reopen 31st October
We regret to inform our guests that Power Surge will be unavailable this weekend due to unplanned maintenance. The ride is scheduled to reopen on Friday, 31st October.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused and look forward to welcoming you back when Power Surge returns to normal operation.
All our other attractions will be running as usual and of course our Brand-New Ride The Pirate Ship Pacifica has set sail and will be available for all to enjoy.
We don't like closing rides and reopen them as soon as our ride systems and technicians advise it is safe to do so.

- Rainbow's End will open 7 days per week from Friday 14th November 2025.
*ANNUAL PASSHOLDERS MAY ENTER DAY SESSIONS EVEN WHEN THE PARK IS SOLD OUT.
The pirate Ship returns SPRING 2025!
We're thrilled to announce that in Spring 2025, we will bring back a beloved classic to the park - The Pirate Ship!
The original Pirate Ship was a guest favourite for almost 40 years and decommissioned in 2017 due to the limited availability of replacement parts. But we have listened to repeated requests from Kiwis asking for it to return, and a new and improved Pirate Ship will be ready to set sail in Spring 2025.
UPCOMING RIDE MAINTENANCE
To keep our rides in tip top shape, all attractions go through a thorough an annual review and service. This is separate to our daily and weekly checks and maintenance procedures, so can take a little longer.
