Conditions & Guidelines

Entry Conditions and Guidelines

If you have any special requests for your visit here at Rainbow's End you will need to let us know prior to the day to make arrangements.

Safety: Guest safety is our number one priority at Rainbow’s End and we have rigorous policies and processes in place to ensure the safety of our guests. For your safety, please follow all written signage and verbal instructions. Safety harnesses must be able to close, fasten and lock, in order for guests to safely participate. Height and weight restrictions apply to rides. For more details see our Health & Safety information.

Restricted Items : None of the following items are to be brought into the park: 

  • Any kind of weapon
  • Knives/Sharps
  • Glass containers of any kind
  • Aerosols

Other Items: For the enjoyment of all guests the following are not permitted in the park: skateboards, roller blades, boom boxes, radio devices, gang colours, cooking devices, pets (excluding guide dogs), or any other item that management deems inappropriate.

Additional items may be prohibited during special events such as Night Rides.

Bag Checks: We perform bag checks at our entrances, and they are a requirement of entry. No persons will be permitted entry to the park if they have any of the restricted items listed above and/or they refuse to have bags checked for restricted items. We apologise for any inconvenience the bag checks cause, but hope you understand and will work with us to keep our park a safe and secure place for all.  

Supervision: Children must be actively supervised by a parent or caregiver at all times, including in Kidz Kingdom.

Pregnancy: For safety reasons Rainbow's End does not allow pregnant guests on rides.

Loose items: Loose items are not permitted on rides. Rainbow’s End accepts no responsibility for guest property, including property placed in non-secure storage containment areas at individual rides. The public are not permitted to use go-pro or other cameras on rides, this includes phones and phone cameras.

Lockers: Secure lockers are available for your valuable belongings. It is recommended that you do not leave any valuable items in your vehicle. 

Footwear: Enclosed shoes are required on our rides. In wet conditions, closed non-slip footwear is recommended at all times in the park.

Park Attractions Availability: 

  • Session Close: We hope that you enjoy your day and ask that you leave the Park once the session finishes. 
  • End of Session Ride Access: So that we don’t disappoint guests, we may close off the ride queues before the Park closure time, to ensure everyone queuing gets on the ride before session close. In these instances a notice will be placed at the end of the current queue to advise the ride cannot take any more riders before the end of session.  
  • Weather & Maintenance Impacts: All rides may not be available on the day you visit due to maintenance, adverse weather or developments in the park. Please check the home page for updated information on rides or see our upcoming information. Park may be closed in adverse weather conditions, please check the website before your visit.

Strollers: These are available for hire while you are visiting the park from Guest Services or our Kidz Kingdom area.

No External Food: Rainbow's End has a great selection of dining options for individuals, families and groups. No outside food may be brought into the park. We have tables outside the park where you may leave the park to enjoy food from home or other businesses. We ask that you keep bands intact for re-entry (please note, we run a no exit policy  during Night Rides)

Drugs and alcohol: Drugs and alcohol are not permitted in the park. Anyone found to be under the influence of drugs or alcohol (intoxicated) may not participate on rides and may be evicted from the park.

Smoking & vaping: Rainbow’s End in a non-smoking venue. A designated smoking area is provided. Please refer to the park map for location.

Refusal of Entry; Behavioural Requirements of Entry: Rainbow's End is a family destination and while we encourage our guests to enjoy themselves, behaviour deemed unacceptable by management may result in perpetrators being evicted from the park without refund, and potentially escalated to the police. 

This includes but is not limited too:

  • Queue jumping and pushing other guests in queues.
  • Spitting.
  • Aggressive behaviour towards other guests and staff.
  • Refusal to follow attendant instructions.
  • Entering or exiting ride zones (beyond the queue area) before being cleared by attendants.
  • Filming of guests who are not in your party without permission.

  • Consumption of alcohol or drugs on site, or under acting under obvious influence.

Park Capacity and Impact on Access: If the park reaches capacity for any event or on a normal day of operating, we reserve the right to close the park to further guests. Whilst this is very inconvenient it is necessary for guest experience and health and safety. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause.
